can i use my phone in brisbane
if i get a new sim card.
or would i be cheaper in getting a whole new phone :?:

If your phone isnt locked to the operator you got it from then it should work fine. If you got it with a plan from your previous operator then its most likely locked and you'll need to get it unlocked to use it with Telstra sim cards here.
