If i travel in Italy and i find a sign board saying " muslims go that way", i would be crazy and find it insult.

Holy prophet never ever stopped non-muslims from these holy cities or even from churches? We should let these people to come and see those places ,nothing is harm in visiting.

Saudi Govt is example of " cartoon govt". I dont know what Islam have they implemented in their own country?

If they touch the quaran and read then they can learn about our religion and if we hide these things from them how will be they able to find what Islam is :0)

There are other ways to learn. The Quran is Pure.

So u wouldnt let these people to read the Quran and understand islam?

after 7/7 bomb explosion in London ,i was travelling in London and people were hesitant to sit beside me becuse of my Asian look. I was feeling really bad. Just imagine how a person will feel if he reads a sign board saying " christian this way" .

for once i agree with HP
"Dont drink n drive, just smoke n fly"

HP,
It is our religion who abide us not to let Non-Muslims to our holy places nor touch the Quran. It is in the core of our religion. and it is the teachings of prophet muhamed PBUH.
If you want to make sure, as a scholar, and don't just assume things man.

Really, you are giving wrong information to ppl.

Well actually HP does have a point! Take the monastary of St Catherine's on Mount Sinai where Mosses received the 10 commandments from God, it also houses the so called burning bush. The monastary is open to all, there's a church and a church standing side by side, so people of all faiths can worship - now that's forward thinking and openess, but run by the Greeks it doesn't surprise me!

Do you know when the Egyptian governement asked the Bishop how far the lands of the monastary extended so they could make it a protected site, he replied, 3 days walk in any direction!

Religious sites are important to all who have faith and should be treated as such.
