Have to change my PP, what about the residence permit?

My Passport is full of stamps and i am planning to change within 3-4 months. What will happen to my residency permit? Do i have to file some appication ?
Is it enough to show the old passport at the airport along with the new one - and once i'm in just ask for a duplicate in my new passport?

Rob, they will just attach your old passport (with the visa) with your new one. Once your residence visa expires, then they will just put it in the new one and you can discard the old one.
