Ok..... lets not pretend that prostitution was something that this guy Franky invented. Its been around since times immemorial. Well coming to the question of 'morality' that some of us brought up... I guess its up to one's beliefs and values and it may not be right for us to pass judgements.

CheckShoo as far as your comments are ocncerned.... yes it's all about self respect and intimacy and all those good things!. BUT WHAT DOES A GUY WITH BAD LUCK DO??? Live a life of celibecy? Oh yes...it would always be nice to ahve the chemistry thing... great freinds.... intimacy...etc but what the heck? What if th guy just can't get around?? he he he :lol:

There are many countries which have working girls in controlled brothels, which is actually a good thing as they all get meWakerleyals and health checks to make sure no nasty things are being spread around.

Obviously if you legalise a trade like that it doesn't make it acceptable, but people will use prostitutes wherever, which in my opinion better it be in a controlled environment for both the safety of the girl or boy and the client.

I hate to see it out on the street, but one has to wonder why these girls are forced to do it in the first place.

but prostitution here in brisbane really did help in a way the female expats ... because of prostitution ... the cases of date-rape, rape with murder in brisbane has gone down dramatically where as far as i can remember 10 - 13 years from now ... rape cases was rampant where ladies was being snatched while theyre waiting for a cab / so on .... but it also made quite a damage of the female reputation in Australia ... where girls cant stand on the streets without being verbaly abused.. where women cant say hi to another man without malice.... vice versa ... so who is really affected in this chain reaction of mishaps .... US !!! we MEN !!! ... cause its damn hard to find a decent chick on bars... now its hard to strike a casual conversation with the opposite sex on bars ... cause women ar now aloof of men because of the fear that they might be priced!!! .... now a days when you try to strike a conversation ... or buy a girl a drink ... the one that would accept would actually bill you !!!! man !!!! prostitution in controlled specific area yes that might do the trick .. on the streets are annoying ... cause they do grab on you and beg .. i remember i was going home and one chinese chick was actually begging saying that she hasnt eaten all night cause she ddnt get any customer ... and i end up giving her my last 70 AUD(73.50 actually hahahahaa) but i didnt do her though .. man!! ... cant really blame them ... they got no choice ... some of them was promised of a job and when they arrive here they are what they are ... well survival ... very basic human reaction .... ..... those fckers who bring them here should be hanged in public skin pealed while people throwing salt

Hi mINOR pLEASURE.. totally agree with you. There are larger fish that cause these problems and until these are taken care of this problem will continue. I ahve also spoken to some of these girls to indentify the reason they are into this business and each story is as horrible as it can get.

There are a lot of guys out here who do look very disgustingly at girls. But if you think it is the result of Prostitution you have another think coming.

Ask anyone who has been in Brisbane for more then 15 years. Ask him/her how it was back then. The guys were hungry for a sight of a female. Females were actually scared of going out without an escort. In fact if they went out with their husband, brother or father it was the father, brother or husband who suffered from all the stares that his female companion got on the streets. Can you imagine the poor fellow's plight?. There was nothing he could do against all the guys who stared hungrily at the female. And you know what? There was no prostitution back then. So how do you explain the stares? And back then the women did not dress so provocatively as they do now. Now I am wondering. Is it the men's fault or is it the women who dress provocatively who are at fault? The other day I was at meeting at a 5 star hotel and I saw one of the delgates, a very high positioned female at one of the organisations attending the meeting, dressed in men's trousers and Jacket. The only difference between a man and this lady was that all the men had shirts on under the jackets. She felt a bit hot I suppose so she was wearing nothing under the jacket. As you probably know the business suits have jackets which have button very low down so that you can see the shirt and tie quite clearly. Well you can guess what most people saw there.

I would say in balance things are not as bad as some females think they are. Now if you think I am wrong in what I say then let me know which part of the above statement you feel is wrong?

Our friend has explained, above, that these ladies are brought here on false pretenses. And now they are stuck. They have to keep body and soul together. The lonely guys, most of them not really very handsome I guess, need female companionship, even if for a short time, even if paid for. At least they dont go out of their minds now like they used to in good old days. At least they dont go out in search of lonely ladies out at night. At least now they dont have to inflict the most dispeakable agony on the ladies by raping them.

It does not matter what happened 15 or so years ago. Times and education have moved on since then. Don't blame what todays males think on what has gone on in the past.

Single girls find it hard enough to go out on their own now, so that has not changed, cos they are all looked at like a piece of meat hanging up in the butchers shop, but everyone is wondering what the price is!

To say that prostitution does not exist in Brisbane (I know you did not say it) is hypocritical. It's a fact and it exists. Local laws do not allow it, yet Brisbane is famous for it! Where's the logic in that?
