Car loans
#1
Hi, does anyone know what bank has the lowest interest for a car or personal loan?

Thx

#2
Checked it myself.

RAK is the lowest i think it is 3.75

if you have contacts in banks, they give you very good rates.

great, thanks for this . I kinda came to that conclusion too but didn't want to get stung!

Someone also advised me to get a personal loan instead of car loan due to the dispute between ownership. do you know of any pitfalls to avoid?

#4
well, for sure personal loan is higher rate, but i don't know how much it is.

But depends on your agreement with the bank

HSBC you don't pay any extra, but you have to inform them 3 months in advance when you want to sell the car. you only pay what is remaining without charges. (or so they say)

check other banks, i don't know about them.

cheers

HSBC are the only bank that have no early settlement fees - even within first year.

Others entertain the idea if you finance your new vehicle through them.
