Checked it myself.
RAK is the lowest i think it is 3.75
if you have contacts in banks, they give you very good rates.

great, thanks for this . I kinda came to that conclusion too but didn't want to get stung!
Someone also advised me to get a personal loan instead of car loan due to the dispute between ownership. do you know of any pitfalls to avoid?

well, for sure personal loan is higher rate, but i don't know how much it is.
But depends on your agreement with the bank
HSBC you don't pay any extra, but you have to inform them 3 months in advance when you want to sell the car. you only pay what is remaining without charges. (or so they say)
check other banks, i don't know about them.

HSBC are the only bank that have no early settlement fees - even within first year.
Others entertain the idea if you finance your new vehicle through them.

do you mean RAC? I cant find anything on RAK.
