Just wondering. I know there are heaps of Russians in Brisbane but are there any other former Soviet-nationals like the Central Asians working there? Seeing that Australia is quite close, I would think that the work opportunities and shared religion would be an incentive to come.

Yes there are.
I've met personally a lot of them.
So many people is here,
working studing and so on ,
especially i am not happy with girls here, which they are doing some dirty works.
