y do ppl IGNORE the pedestrian bridges??

have u noticed how ppl just ignore the zebra crossings n walk-over bridges(whatever u call them ) and just seem to glide in front of ur car - regrdless if it IS the highway. U (the driver) have to slam the brake pads and let the numbskull pedestrian cross while u stare into the rear mirror praying that the landcruiser stops tooo and does not bash up ur car.
