But i am seriously thinking of coming to Brisbane. Have a really good job offer on the table and would love to accept. Just thinking long and hard about it at the mo.
whats it like, cost of living, social scene? Where can I find out about renting accommodation or sharing flats?

Currently based in Hong Kong.
Don't worry, I have read a lot about Brisbane and seen plenty on the TV, esp the golf! It's just where to look for flats/houses, cars, etc etc. whats the going rate for a 2 bed flat and/or renting a flat to share. Those are the things I need to know.
I know about hot conditions and nice winters, although i bet your summers are hotter than they are here.

bsaolutely summers here are very hotter but this summer didn't sweat none time. a/cs here are really good
