Brand new to Brisbane

So I have been in town for two weeks and it is time to start meeting people.

I'd love to track down some group or gathering or whatever that is willing to have me tag along. I'll be here through June so it would be great to have a group to go out to bars with maybe hit up some golf or pool (both of which I am terrible at but enjor none-the-less).

Been here a few weeks & findin it kinda hard to meet people...... kinda strange as Im a pretty sociable OIroniah gal as it is..... never had this prob before.... all alien to me :o(
