Well, to be fair, he has a hell of a lopt of quality players out injured, but still, that should be no excuse for what has happened.

I do feel sorry for him, after all, it is the players who perform on the pitch and not the manager. I say that all the players should be docked a months wages!

Surely Yorky, with a name like yours, you'll be more interested in the goings-on at KitKat Crescent!!! Big Grin

bsaolute bollox Yorky. Yes, a lot of injured players but that was no excuse for the £8m he spent on a defender who couldn't defend against a team of 5 year olds, the £10m he spent on Luque who has proved not to be very Luque, the fact he signed a waster like Babayaro and the fact he still had a team of internationals who he cannot get to perform for him.

No sympathy whatsoever.

I would blame Freddy Sherpherd for appointing the useless get in the first place. Where ever he has gone fans have always been delighted when Souness finally departed.

If the Toon could get him Martin O'Neill would be a great choice. Souness will probably be waved on his way with a million or two in pay-off. Will certainly cushion the blow of a sacking.

SOuness was a surprise appointment anyway. He should have done the honourable thing and walked much earlier. O'Neil would be a good choice but isn't he being lined up for England? Shearer I think still has too many dressing room issues, remember when he punched Dywer? Just don't go 60 miles up the coast and steal our promising manager who is going to lead us to third division Victory.
Well done is better than well said.
