Try Billy Blues they have 2 for 1 steak night on a Sunday and ribs on a Monday - sooooo good!

You could also look into Carters @ the Pyramids - although no blooming onions in site.

It is the hotel on Dyafa road with the Aussie bar and Cactus Cantina, I think Rydges?

Maybe because I’m from the west (Calgary AB) I’ve been spoiled but I've yet to find a truly enjoyable steak in Brisbane but Billy's is more edible than most. There is also a really good steak house in the Grand Hyatt; I find this better than Billy’s but a whole different price point, value for money Billy’s wins hands down.

Yeah, Rydges, I play bball next to that almost every night.

Stayed there for the first few weeks when I got moved here but din notice the steak house, frequented the Mexican more often.
