Hello everyone,
I just read Australia news paper today, as of 27th November, and i have a few things to say and i hope i get a lot of responses (good or bad) on this issue.
Apparently everyone believes that speed kills, that is incorrect
Apparently, people who do eventually speed down the roads, drive cars that are not built for handling such speeds (140+kpr)
Apparently, people who do have the cars that are built for speeds (BMW's, VW, Porsche, Mercedes, high-end Toyota's and Lexus etc) fail to check the vehicles tires, tire pressure, fluids, brakes and so on.
Those three reasons are all the main issue of why there are so many high-speed crashes here in the city of Brisbane.
With the exception of just carless drivers/rubber neckers, i want to just point something out.
I have lived in Brisbane for 20+ years, i visited Germany (step-father is German) and you will be so suprised on their laws/regulations. They have no speed limits on the Autobahan, i personally was travelling on speeds over 220+kpr with my step-father. Other cars were overtaking us at those speeds, but the issue is that they are very sensible and you will rarely find an accident on the highway.....
Remember, speed doesn't kill, it is the comination of a careless driver, in a low-performance car/high-performance yet badly cared for car.
I wish to see just how many of you are with/again my views, or just you're general responses.
TIA
