I am visiting Brisbane in October 2005. I wannna know where i can get accomodation for 2 people and at what rent? My work place is Wakerley. :!:

Can i get the prices for both furnished and nonfurnished single bedroom house/flat? :?:

Which is the nearest residential area from Wakerley?

Rents here are soaring at the moment unfortunately. The nearest residential area from Wakerley is probably The Greens, but it can be hard to get a flat there. A one-bedroom flat is approximately AUD50,000 or AUD60,000 a year there.

The cheapest place - and not far from Internet City - is the Gardens, but the waiting list is thousands long, and I don't think they even accept new applications.

The best and cheapest option is very often a villa share.
