i love tradtional bengali food from the syhlet area of bangladesh .my fav is lamb meat with potatoes cooked in thick sauce made with onions,tomatoes,haldi ,chill and zeera power.yum
has any one tried bombay duck it smells while cooking but tastes great.

Kalderetang Kabing !!! = Spicy Lamb/Goat/Mutton Stew with potato, bell pepper, tomato, tomato sauce, and liver spread,... its really nice when the mutton whould be cooked really well and let the meat be very soft!,..
Good with steamed rice, and good when your drinking beer too !!!!!
Densio's SiSig !!!! = Now this is totally awesome, man this dish is such a hit that all most ALL of the restaurants, Clubs, Bars in the Philippines serves this dish, hell even here in brisbane all of filipino restaurant and clubs are serving this aswell they even made a ready to reat canned and plastic party packs of these stuff !!! its pork belly, pork ears, and pork liver, BBQ'd and then chopped and cooked then again with mayonaise, onion, garlic, chilli, and when its cooked its served on a Sizzling platter toped with fresh Egg !!!! then as soon as it reached your table you have to mix it at once !!!! so the egg will naturally cook with the sizzling platters heat !!!! This is a MUST try dish !!!!! and no one makes it better than Densio's Philippines !!! damn i miss Densio's
Peanut Butter Stew !!! (Kare Kare) Its Oxtail Peanutbutter stew !!!!! Great with Spicy Sti Fried Shrimp Fry !!!!!!
And of my all time fav. LISTON de Letche !!!!!!! its a baby Pig (3-4 days old) cleaned then cooked FULL over charcaol !!! it takes time but when its cooked ! its heaven !!!!!! with its red crispy skin !!! with Mang tomas !!!! yummmmm !!!!!!
My fav dish is: 3 chopped tomatos + 2 chopped cucumbers + 1 chopped onion + 3 table spoons of sunflower oil (now the oil is important you can't use olive oil or other veg oils - just good sunflower oil). And finally one spoon of salt.
