Dodgy Boat Transport Company
#1
I recently bought a new boat in Brisbane, was a great experince untill i got Aquatic Boat Transport to freight it up to Darwin for me. After paying Brett & Jess Steel the $3200.00 for transport my new boat sat in their yard for five weeks whilst i got every excuse under the sun from "your boat wont fit this week" to "we forgot". Finally when my boat arrived in Darwin i went to pick it up to find the trailer brake cable was ripped apart, the mud guards were cracked, the tie down straps had been removed and the boat had moved in transport damaging a couple rollers and denting the boat and also the plastic cup holders were ripped off. ("yer that always happens" was their reply). I took some photos and emailed the and they asked me to supply a qoute to replace the damaged parts. Sweet. I thought as the mudguards were still useable i would just get them to replace the cable and cup holders. Total of $100.00
So its now been another four weeks since i first sent them the quote and even though i email and call them every couple days they still wont reply or replace the damaged parts.
My advise DONT EVER USE AQUATIC BOAT TRANSPORT
