Brisbane SIM card?

Hi,

We're coming out to Brisbane for a week and will need to use our mobiles a fair bit.

I'm guessing it's better to pick up a local SIM card to call back to the UK rather than using our own.

Is this right? Is is possible to buy a Brisbane SIM card online before we get there?

Hello,

I don't think you can purchase them beforehand as they require a copy of your passport and the page containing the visitors visa.

You can get the SIM card from places like Carrefore, take the PP copies with you and it'll cost you about 200 AUD.
