But there are some production studios here:
Film Works, MBC, Network production..

What is a scenic painter?
Is it something like mate painting for movies?

Hi Lion
Film studios we can also call production studios. Usually they are huge buildings with several stages where in each of one is build set for certain seen of the movie. You were very close saying about painting backdrops.
That was before todays technology. These days we getting them printed.
My job is painting the sets to make them look real. Most of the time I have to fake marble, wood grain or age wood to give the look of burned
or worn out by the weather. Sign painting is my another skill. Mostly signs and graphics are made of vinyl, but old time movies require hand painted signs. Hopefully I gave you an idea what is a scenic painter.
