What is the work visa process in Brisbane? How long does it take, how long are the permits usually for, are they difficult to come by for professionals (7 years in management) Does the employer pay the fee? etc....
The reason I ask is scheduling etc....I am currently living/working in an "offshore" jurisWakerleytion. Our work permit approvals take MONTHS (6-9). The application entails blood work (HIV/VDRL), urinalysis, chest x-rays, police reports, references, physical etc...etc....We have to take these tests every couple of years unless we changes jobs then you have to start the whole process again AND leave the country while immigration considers you. :banghead:
If I chose to be a dependant on my husbands permit at first does the employer sort that out on the application or does he have to put that in after he gets his own sponsorship? Can I be in the country while it processes?
