Cricket scoring
#1
In all other countries I know, the batting side's score is given as "241 (runs) for 7 (wickets)"; the bowler's figures are "4 for 69" (4 wickets for 69 runs).

In Australia, the score is given as "Australia 4 for 249" when Australia are batting.

Why this reversal? when did it begin?

Ahh, forget it!
I'll post it somewhere else.

I should say Australia is in a good place in international cricket.I'm pretty sad to say we lost this world cup but next time we will definitely win it.
