Hi there,

Trying to remind you kindly to look for a good quality mover before home moving day. We had a bad service from the 1st class movers at the beginning of this month.

Firstly, they came to our old place 9.45am and started working 9.50am and finished 12.20pm , but they asked us to pay for 3.25 hours, $520.

Secondly, during moving, they processed very slow as talking a lots and had twice smoke breaks.

Third, our fridge and microwave have been damaged.

I sent a email to the company. Their response:
we arrived at 9:45 and left at 12:35 so the time should have been 2.75hrs hour not 3.25. They said they do not allow smoke breaks on clients time.

After another 4 working days, I emailed to them for advanced answer and refund, unfortunately, I got nothing return. Are there anything I can do?

Hope you guys won't get kind of bad experience as us, paid over than your budget but get the bad mood back.

Brisbane is a pretty safe city. Although, as with any other place in the world, there are areas that may not be as nice as others.
Hi,

I'm looking to rent a large bedroom in convenient location. The best things about this location and house is that:-

There's a Coles 2 mins drive way,
Runcorn train station is 5 mins walk away,
Local pool is 2 mins drive away
There's a large variety of restaurants nearby
There are 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets in the house
The room is fully furnished

I'm looking to rent to a male who doesn't mind living with me, my housemate and 2 friendly cats. We're both professionals and take turns cooking Asian food.

The rent is $130/ week with 4 weeks bond. Internet, water, electricity are all included.

If you're interested in the above you can email me on runcorneric@gmail(dot)com or sms me on 0400 721 131
Thanks,

For anyone who's interested, there's been a book released with information (all avenues 100+ pages) around homelessness across Ipswich & Brisbane - aiming to widen the scope of thought and debate around homelessness and its surrounding issues and to provide useful, practical information. This has been a DIY project over a year in the making with contributions from many many people.

"The aim of this book is to provide some direction to those who are homeless or are at risk of falling into homelessness; to make hard to find information available for those who might want to help someone in crisis but don't know how- and; to demonstrate to people from all walks of life that homelessness isn't a natural or a minor issue"

As cheap as possible (or free) depending on circumstance. For more information/contents etc visit the website (limited copies for now unfortunately): ibcat.tk
