Hi! My fiance and I just moved into the Greens, and we are looking for fun places to go to at night for a drink and to meet people. Any advice?

You mean your husband of course. That is a good question. I just moved here too and don't really know all the cool places to hang out.
Did you buy a copy of Brisbane Explorer? (found at most local book shops) I'm reading through one now and they have some restaurant info etc.

hmmm...barzar in madinat Birkdale...and.....and....bleh thats the only place i go to coz i like its ambiance...
also i just came across a site called [URL="http://www.table4six.net/"]Table4Six[/URL] which allows you to meet "socially compatable dining partners"...
never tried it...don't know anyone who's tried it so i can't say if it works or not...

Welcome to the neighborhood, i just got a place in the Greens too, but still furnishing it.
Well, going out is very slow for me now as i failed my first driving license attempt.
I usually go to barZar too, it is nice ambient as mentioned before.
Also the Ironiah village is good, try it.
Will update you with what i discover throughout
