Buying/leasing car where? how much? - Jana - 11-04-2005 Dear All, In the end of November, I will be moving to Brisbane for a long-term employment. Could you be so kind to inform me about: 1. average prices for leasing/buying cars? 2. the best places to leasing/buy? Thank you very much and I enjoy joining you in Brisbane soon Jana - BFG-9000 - 11-08-2005 Answer will of course depend on size and make of vehicle and the period of lease - weekly, monthly, annual. There are many around so shop around and pose the question to your employer of who is the preferred company - its a good starting point, as you would get corporate rates from them. Small (<1.5L: Corolla, Civic, Lancer) ~ AUD2,000/Month Medium (2.0L-2.4L: Camry, Mazda 6) ~ AUD2,800/Month Large (>2.4L: Lumina) ~ AUD3,600/Month - A64Venice - 11-08-2005 haha...the same post.... - BFG-9000 - 11-08-2005 Yah, you posted your question in the wrong forum eh... - yurki500 - 11-08-2005 I just recently made enquiries for someone in Brisbane. To get better rates you should try and use your company. Private leases etc are only for 1 year, companies can lease for longer and hence will get better rates. To be honest, I would hire a car for a few months and then buy one1 |
