Hotmail login hellllllppppppp - kelly1966 - 09-09-2005 I just tried logging into my MSN Messenger and hotmail account and it seems someone hacked into it and changed my password. I have tried everything from resetting it to contacting MSN for help and have had no luck. Now it is locked up because I tried so many times to log in and it wouldn't allow me to. Can anyone help me or give me some advice as to how I can get my hotmail account back? I really don't want to lose all my contacts or emails. Thanks so much, Kelly - Brisbane - 09-09-2005 MSN hotmail asks you for an alternate email in order to recupe a lost PW.... You mean its not sending anything to that? Weird... :? Give it some time. The lock seldom lasts more than 24-48 hours.... There are programs you can get on Shareza (pirated) that allow you to hack into a hotmail account. So you can hack into yours and correct the error! Sorry, can't be of more help help - kelly1966 - 09-09-2005 Thanks Brisbane, The lock is off now but it still won't allow me to log in. Obviously someone changed my password and alternate email address. I don't want to keep trying as it will lock me out again. Any other suggestions? How is Brisbane? Kelly - kelly1966 - 09-09-2005 This website called Shareza, doyou have to pay for it? I went into it and it is asking for payment. Oh I am sooooooooo pissed right now. :x - Jeev - 01-04-2006 Hi Kelly, What is the exact error message you get when you try to log in? Is the error message same when you try to access your mail account and messenger? Does it happen all the time i mean from office? from home? or when you try to access it from a different computer? I mean ur sure your office does not have a firewall or a proxy setting. THis information might be helpful, but if someone has changed the password then theres a problem. Take care, Jerry - kelly1966 - 01-08-2006 Hi Jerry, Thanks for your reply. I contacted hotmail directly and they reset my password.....seems someone hacked into my account and changed my password, secret question and alternate email address..... I provided them with some personal information and they reset it for me thank god....
