  I don't know richmc! But I still know I am laughing about your cart tart story!

Back to burgers! There is every fast food joint here you can imagine and almost everything delivers. Hardees are better than Maccas and Burger King (Hungry Jacks).
You'll like shawarma (??spelling), like yiros, you come from Melb so maybe it's kebab-you know pita bread with marinated lamb, chicken , salad and tzatziki!!

Fraad Wrote:btw i used to go to an australian pub in washington that would make burgers with an egg and pinneaple on them. i know it sounds weird and gross but it was really yummy !!! anyone know of any place in brisbane i can get that ?

Sounds like an Aussie Burger (with beetroot) from Hungry Jacks (Burger King)... the proper one will have bacon as well, but prob won't get that here.

- RIEL - 02-12-2006

Geez- more Aussies than you can poke a stick at!! The Aussie burger was invented in my state Tongue -the beetroot was crinckle cut, as was the egg wobbly on the bottom-from memory- so not to fall off the burger ie friction. Don't ya love Physics!! Smile
