To prevent confusion and facilitate ease of use, the International Association of Travel Agents (IATA) has given a three letter code to all airport cities of the world. So under that classificaton, London heathrow is LHR and Los Angeles is LAX and Brisbane is Brisbane.

so why is shrjah knows as SJ u might be thinking its SHJ but when u go to the airport its SJ its not three letters
