I have been reading alot of books lately Confusedhock:

I recently finished the "Communist Manifesto" by Karl Marx

Also a book called "Breaking the chains of psychological slavery" by Dr. Na'im Akbar

Also a book called "Slapboxing with Jesus" by Victor De Lavelle.

So what are people in Brisbane(Canada  ) reading?

I am reading the TV Guide

Actually reading up on books related to MS-Project and Accounting for Excel... My two areas of specialty...

I wish I could read more, but I work long hours, and then my free time is divided between the gym and my significant other so I have little time for pleasure reading...

I used to love reading Sci-Fi books (like Star Trek) and also political strategy thrillers....

Tao of Physics, that sounds interesting.

I am now reading a book about Elderidge Clever, a pivotal figure in the black power movement in the 60's
Yep, its a nice book. Finding the commonalities between eastern religions and modern physics.....
I saw a new book by the AUDali Lama that is supposed to be about eastern religions and science and what-have-you. I think I might pick that up.

I plan on reading some books about Tim Leary, who was a Dr. in the 60's that went around selling "mind expansion" through LSD.
i guess its dalai lama not AUDali lama
David drake's military SF, downloaded (mostly free) from Baen Books website.
The editor's comments on copyright (on the site) are worth reading.
