Hello,
I'm going to be studying abroad in Brisbane. I'm just looking to learn about Australia and more specifically what Brisbane has to offer. Any cheap ways to travel to Sydney, Melbourne, New Zealand, national parks and things of that nature? What cool things should I check out while I'm there? I'm interested in music, as we host shows of all genres back home. Also anything in the way of the art scene, nightlife, and ways to do those things cheaply would be amazing. I'd also like to get a job while I'm there and I heard that bartending would be the way to go. Just some advice for a rookie Brisbaner would be appreciated. I'm from the United States and will be studying at Griffith University. I'll be there from July to November. Thanks.
