The documentary Charles Bradley: Soul of America follows Bradley’s extraordinary journey during the electrifying and transformative months leading up to the release of his January 2011 debut album No Time for Dreaming. Championed by critics and fans alike, No Time For Dreaming became one of the best selling independent records of the year, landed on Rolling Stone’s Top 50 Albums of 2011 and helped Bradley secure coveted spots on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Last Call with Carson Daily. The 74-minute documentary directed by Poull Brien will have its world premiere at SXSW this year.
