I saw a piece in the Courier-Mail about the ecological benefits of a proposed compressed air car.
Apparently, the car has a compressor which you plug in to the mains at night and "Fill up" for next day.
Question: will the pollution from the extra electricity generation be less than that from a petrol car?
This seems to me to apply to all the "stored power" cars proposed, from battery-electric to flywheel power.
