Hi guys,
I'm wondering if there are any hi-end home audio (not home video or theatre) equipment available in Brisbane stores or malls. I've been looking out for it but can only find shops displaying brands like Bang & Olufsen and Bose systems only. These brands are designed specially for home theatre system and not ideal for hi-end home audio system.
Some reputable hi-end home audio brands includes names such as Jadis (France); Audio Research (USA); Audio Note/Kondo (UK/Japan) and Sonus Faber (Italy) etc. just to name a few.
Are there any audio enthusiasts who invest thousands of dollars, time and energy to assemble the best and the state-of-the-art audio system here for music enjoyment? There are many hobbyists from developed or advanced countries who spend a fortune on LPs (vinyl records); turntables; tube amplifiers, power cables, interconnects and horn speakers etc. to recreate the most lifelike music form possible within the confines of their living room to quench their audio thirst.
If there are such people here, where do they get their hi-end stuffs from? Do they import directly their own from faraway places like the US, Europe & Japan?
"Where is the soul of a city without the rhythm?"
