REVIEW - King Kong
#1
KING KONG (2005)

Flamboyant, foolhardy documentary filmmaker, Carl Denham, sails off to remote Skull Island to film his latest epic with leading lady, Ann Darrow. Native warriors kidnap Ann to use as a sacrifice as they summon "Kong" with the local witch doctor. But instead of devouring Ann, Kong saves her. Kong is eventually taken back to New York where he searches high and low for Ann, eventually winding up at the top of the Empire State Building, facing off against a fleet of World War I fighter planes (Yahoo movies)

Snype's review

This is one of the best movies I have seen this year. Amazing graphics, sound and yes animation. But there are some things in the movie that remains mystery , for example, while trying to trap the KONG (that kong who smashed three Rex!) and in the jungle 17 men died and by luck, the director anesthetizes the Kong using chloroform. How in the hell did they manage to take this huuuuuuge kong to NY remains a mystery. Moreover the filmmaker, Carl Denham was responsible for the deaths of many ppl due to his stupidity and selfish nature and still the captain of the ship obeys him to take the KONG all the way to NY! Well as any other movie it has flaws. Overall the movie was great. The best part of the movie was Kong fighting three rex's and those yummy insects gobbling men. Did you guys notice the rotation effect in the end of the movie when the Kong falls from Empirestate building , those three planes rotating the building causes some illusion.

Rating 8.5/10 - VERY GOOD

P.S - Sorry choco for editing ur post, cant help to review this movie

Oh My God!!!!!! What an amazing movie!

Ok I know it's a remake, but everything Peter Jackson touches just turns to gold. Cast brilliant, effects brilliant.

The 3 hours seemed to go really fast, always a sign a movie is good, I was totally hooked from the start. The first 20-30 minutes is all character set up, but then it's a total roller coaster ride, all the scenes on Skull Island had me on the edge of my seat it was one action scene after another.

There's a wicked fight between Kong and 3 T-rex type dinosours which was just mind blowing.

Andy Serkis really brought feeling to the King Kong character.

You must see this on the big screen - it was fab!

Bloody tired though didn't get out the cinema till 1am.

Sniper the rules are too complicated, and sorry I forgot to put REVIEW in front of the movie title, like anyone else is doing it!

I get to see all the big movies at their press and exhibitor screenings, it's called having contacts darling. Plus I get to see what movies I want, when I want for no money, which is why I spend hours in the cinema.

I went to see it last night, enjoyed it thoroughly a great flick.

Admittedly I haven’t gone to a lot of movies since moving here but are intermissions common? That took a bit away from the movie for me, it was annoying.

#13
No intermissions are not common, it's only because the film is twice the normal length. Cinemas don't have to use the intermission, they didn't when I went.
