jfish1936 Brisbane Forums Frequenter Joined: 02 Sep 2007 Posts: 148	Posted: Sun Sep 02, 2007 2:43 pm    Post subject: Cricket scoring In all other countries I know, the batting side's score is given as "241 (runs) for 7 (wickets)"; the bowler's figures are "4 for 69" (4 wickets for 69 runs). In Australia, the score is given as "Australia 4 for 249" when Australia are batting. Why this reversal? when did it begin?
